QUICK LESSONS:
Ask for Allah's forgiveness , Keep another fast if you break your fasting during Ramadan , Be generous with what you have been blessed with .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a man who broke his fast during the holy month of Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad then gave him a huge basket containing fifteen sa's of dates as an act of mercy. He told the man to eat it himself and with his family, but also to keep one fast in order to seek Allah’s forgiveness. This hadith teaches us that even if we make mistakes or break our fasting during Ramadan, we should not despair but instead seek Allah’s mercy by asking for His forgiveness and making up for our mistake by keeping another fast. It also teaches us that we should be generous with what we have been blessed with, as the Prophet Muhammad was generous in giving this man a large amount of dates despite him breaking his fasting.
