EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the prohibition of perpetual fasting, which means fasting for an extended period of time without any breaks. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was asked why he does not keep perpetual fasting like the people, to which he replied that his position is different from theirs as he is provided with food and drink. This hadith teaches us to be content with what we have and not compare ourselves to others, as everyone has their own unique circumstances. It also reminds us that we should not overburden ourselves by taking on more than we can handle, such as excessive fasting or other religious obligations.
