The above tradition has also been transmitted by 'Amr bin Shu’aib through a different chain of narrators. This version adds The Prophet said "There is no vow except in an act which seeks the pleasure of Allah, the Exalted.

EXPLANATIONS:
A hadith narrated by 'Amr bin Shuaib states that making a vow should be done with the intention of pleasing Allah. This means that when we make a promise or an oath, it should be something that is beneficial and will bring us closer to God. We should not make promises or vows for selfish reasons, but rather for the purpose of seeking His pleasure and satisfaction. This hadith teaches us to always keep our word and strive to do good deeds in order to please Him. It also reminds us that our actions must reflect our faith in Him and His teachings if we want to gain His approval.
