Fulfilling the Conditions of Marriage

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of fulfilling the conditions of marriage.

'Uqbah bin 'Amir reported the Apostle of Allaah as saying "The condition worthier to be fulfilled by you is the one by which you made the private parts (of your wife) lawful (for you).
حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ أَحَقَّ الشُّرُوطِ أَنْ تُوفُوا بِهِ مَا اسْتَحْلَلْتُمْ بِهِ الْفُرُوجَ
