EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the creatures that a pilgrim in sacred state can kill. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked which of the creatures a pilgrim in sacred state could kill and he replied with a list of animals such as snakes, scorpions, rats, pied crows, biting dogs and kites. He also said that any wild animal which attacks man should be driven away but not killed. This hadith teaches us to respect all living things even if they are dangerous or harmful to us because Allah has created them all for some purpose. It also teaches us to protect ourselves from harm but not take revenge on other living beings unnecessarily. We should only use force when it is absolutely necessary for our safety or protection.
