This hadith is about a sub-clan of the tribe Fahm who used to pay one bag of honey out of ten bags as zakat. Zakat is an obligatory form of charity in Islam which involves giving away a portion from one's wealth for the benefit and welfare of others. In return for their payment, they were given two woods as protected lands by Sufyan ibn Abdullah ath-Thaqafi. This shows that when we give charity or do good deeds, Allah rewards us with protection and blessings in return.
