Narrated 'Aishah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered the night prayer and then prayed eight rak'ahs standing, and two rak'ahs between the two Adhans (ie the adhan for the dawn prayer and the iqamah). He never left them. Jaf'ar b. Musafir said in his version: (He prayed) the two rak'ahs sitting between the two Adhans. He added the word "sitting".
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was an example for us in all aspects of life including how he prayed his salat. He taught us how important it was to be punctual with our prayers and how we can take care of ourselves while doing so by taking breaks when needed. We should strive to follow his example as much as possible so that we can reap the rewards from Allah SWT both in this world and the hereafter inshaAllah!
