QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful of your own capabilities and those of other people when making decisions for yourself or advising others; Be humble; Respect equality before Allah; Follow what is commanded by Allah SWT .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of prohibiting others from certain acts that he himself did. He would pray after the afternoon prayer and fast continuously but forbid others to do so. This teaches us that even though we may be able to do something ourselves, it does not mean that everyone else can or should do it too. We must be mindful of our own capabilities and those of other people when making decisions for ourselves or advising others. It also teaches us to be humble and not think too highly of ourselves because we are all equal in Allah's eyes regardless of our abilities or accomplishments.
