Take time out of your day to pray and remember Allah no matter what direction you are facing or where you are located; Be mindful of your surroundings; Take into account which way Mecca is so that you can properly orient yourself for prayer; Utter the takbir before praying.

The hadith narrated by Anas ibn Malik tells us that when the Prophet Muhammad was travelling and wished to say voluntary prayer, he made his she-camel face the qiblah and uttered the takbir. This means that he would make sure his camel was facing towards Mecca before saying Allah is most great. He then prayed in whatever direction his mount made its face. This teaches us that even when we are travelling it is important to take time out of our day to pray and remember Allah no matter what direction we are facing or where we are located. It also shows us how important it is to be mindful of our surroundings and take into account which way Mecca is so that we can properly orient ourselves for prayer.
