EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer. It tells us that when we pray we should glorify God by saying “Glory be to Thee, O Allah” and ask for forgiveness by saying “Praise be to Thee, O Allah forgive me”. This is based on a command from the Qur’an which Prophet Muhammad was interpreting. By doing this we are showing our love for God and asking Him for His mercy. We should always remember that He is all-powerful and all-knowing so it is important that we show Him respect when praying.
