Raising Hands for Takbir

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) raised his hands when he said the takbir.

Wa’il b.Hujr said that he saw the Messenger of Allah raise his hands when he uttered the takbir (Allah is most great).
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ زُرَيْعٍ - حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ وَائِلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَهْلُ، بَيْتِي عَنْ أَبِي أَنَّهُ، حَدَّثَهُمْ أَنَّهُ، رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ التَّكْبِيرَةِ
