This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's appointment of a mu'adhdhim, or one who calls out the adhan, for Umm Waraqah daughter of 'Abd Allah b. al-Harith. The Prophet also commanded her to lead the inmates in prayer at her house. This hadith teaches us that it is important to have someone call out the adhan before praying and that it is important for everyone in a household to pray together as well as take turns leading each other in prayer. It also shows us how much respect and care the Prophet had for his followers by appointing someone specifically to call out the adhan at Umm Waraqah's home so she could pray with ease and comfort.
