Menstrual Period Prayer Refrain

SUMMARY: The hadith is about Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh who had a prolonged flow of blood and the Prophet commanded her to refrain from prayer during her menstrual period, wash and pray.

Rabi'ah said: Umm Habibah daughter of Jahsh had a prolonged flow of blood. The Prophet commander her to refrain (from prayer) during her menstrual period; then she should wash and pray.
