QUICK LESSONS:
Treat people with respect and kindness regardless of what they have done .
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the purity of water and how it is not affected by a person's sexual impurities. It was narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas, one of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad took a bath from a large bowl and when he wanted to perform ablution or take from the water left over, she told him that she was sexually defiled. The Prophet responded saying that water is not defiled. This hadith teaches us that even though someone may be considered impure due to their actions, this does not affect the purity of water in any way. It also serves as an example for us to follow in our own lives; we should never judge someone based on their past mistakes or misdeeds but instead treat them with respect and kindness regardless of what they have done.
