QUICK LESSONS:
Avoid urinating into stagnate waters

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, teaches us that it is not permissible to urinate in stagnant water and then use it for washing. This is because the urine will contaminate the water, making it impure and unfit for use. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this lesson so that we can maintain cleanliness and purity in our lives. We should be mindful of this teaching when using any kind of water, whether it be a river or a pond or even a bucket of rainwater. We should also remember that if we do happen to urinate in any kind of water, we must make sure to purify the area afterwards by pouring clean water over it or by sprinkling some earth on top of the contaminated area.
