Prohibiting Soaking Fruits in Certain Containers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) forbade soaking fruits in certain containers.

Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW forbade soaking (fruits) in Ad-Dubba' (gourds) and Al-Muzaffat".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِيهِمَا
