Soaking Dried Fruits Separately

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) forbade soaking dried dates and raisins, and dried dates and Al-Busr together, instead he advised to soak them separately.

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that: The Prophet SAW forbade soaking dried dates and raisins, and dried dates and Al-Busr, and he said: "Soak raisins on their own, and dried dates on their own, and Al-Busr on their own".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow the advice given by Prophet Muhammad SAW on how to prepare food properly by soaking each type of fruit separately instead of mixing them together .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) taught us that when we are soaking dried fruits such as raisins, dried dates, or Al-Busr, we should not mix them together. Instead he advised us to soak each type of fruit separately. This is because the different types of fruits may require different amounts of time to be soaked in order for them to become soft enough for consumption. By soaking each type of fruit separately it ensures that all the fruits will be ready at the same time without any being over or under soaked. This hadith also teaches us about moderation in our eating habits as well as being mindful about how we prepare our food.
