EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ mortgaged his armor to a Jew in Medina and took some barley bread from him for his family. This was because the household of Muhammad did not possess even a single Sa of wheat or food grains for their evening meal despite having nine wives to look after. This hadith highlights the hardship that the Prophet ﷺ faced despite being one of God's messengers. It also serves as an example of how he was willing to go through such difficulties in order to provide for his family and serve as an example of humility and selflessness. Furthermore, it teaches us that we should be content with whatever we have and be grateful even if our circumstances are difficult.
