QUICK LESSONS:
Abstain from forbidden items ; Use resources wisely ; Be content with what one has ; Be humble in dress sense

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that there are certain items which are forbidden for us to use. These include gold rings, silver vessels, Al-Mayathir, Al-Qassiyah, Al-Istabraq, Ad-Dibaj and silk. This is because these items can lead to extravagance and wastefulness which is not encouraged in Islam. We should instead focus on being content with what we have and using our resources wisely. Furthermore we should strive to be humble in our dress sense so as not to draw attention or envy from others.
