QUICK LESSONS:
Use your wealth according to Allah's commands and don't show off your possessions for admiration from others .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the dangers of wearing gold rings. It was narrated by Abu Idris that the Prophet saw a man wearing a gold ring on his hand and he struck his finger with a stick that he had with him until he threw it away. This shows us that the Prophet disapproved of people wearing gold rings as it can lead to pride and arrogance. He wanted to teach people not to be proud or arrogant because of their wealth or possessions. He also wanted to remind them that all wealth comes from Allah and should be used in accordance with His commands. We should remember this lesson when we are tempted to show off our wealth or possessions in order to gain admiration from others.
