Forbidden Items and Actions in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet (SAW) forbade 'Ali from wearing certain items and reciting the Qur'an while bowing.

It was narrated that 'Ali said: "The Prophet SAW forbade me from Al-Qassi, silk, gold rings, and that I recite Qur'an while bowing". Hisham contradicted him, he did not narrate it in Marfu' form.
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ نَهَانِي النَّبِيُّ عَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ رَاكِعًا ‏.‏ خَالَفَهُ هِشَامٌ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the prohibitions that were taught to us by Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It was narrated by 'Ali ibn Abi Talib that the Prophet forbade him from wearing certain items such as Al-Qassi, silk, and gold rings. He also prohibited him from reciting the Qur'an while bowing. These prohibitions are important for Muslims to follow as they are part of our faith. We must remember that Allah has given us these rules for a reason and it is important to abide by them in order to stay on the right path.
