Forbidden Items According to Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) forbade the use of certain items such as gold rings, red Al-Miyathir, Qassiyah garments and Al-Ji'ah.

'Ali said: "The Messenger of Allah SAW forbade gold rings, red Al-Miyathir, Qassiyah garments and Al-Ji'ah, which is a drink made from barley and wheat". - And he mentioned its strength.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ آدَمَ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ، عَلِيٍّ يَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَنْ حَلْقَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنِ الْمِيثَرَةِ الْحَمْرَاءِ وَعَنِ الثِّيَابِ الْقَسِّيَّةِ وَعَنِ الْجِعَةِ شَرَابٌ يُصْنَعُ مِنَ الشَّعِيرِ وَالْحِنْطَةِ وَذَكَرَ مِنْ شِدَّتِهِ ‏.‏ خَالَفَهُ عَمَّارُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'Ali ibn Abi Talib states that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) prohibited certain items from being used. These items include gold rings, red dye called Al-Miyathir, a type of garment known as Qassiyah and a drink made from barley and wheat called Al-Ji'ah. This hadith serves to remind us that we should be mindful of what we consume or wear in our daily lives according to Islamic teachings.
