Pay blood money for accidental killing; carry out qisas when killing deliberately; do not try to prevent qisas from taking place; accept justice according Islamic law; show compassion towards those affected by accidental killings; hold accountable those responsible for deliberate killings .

This hadith explains that if someone is killed accidentally, then the blood money should be paid as compensation for their death. If someone kills deliberately, then retaliation or qisas must take place instead of paying a blood money. Anyone who tries to prevent this from happening will receive a curse from Allah and all people alike. Furthermore, no sarf or adl can be accepted by Allah in such cases as they are not applicable here. Sarf refers to exchanging something of equal value while adl refers to justice being served in an appropriate manner according to Islamic law.
