EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Ibn 'Umar, teaches us that it is not permissible to sell food before taking possession of it. This means that one should not buy something with the intention to resell it without first having taken ownership and possession of the item. This prohibition applies to all types of food, including fruits, vegetables, grains and other edible items. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was very clear in his instructions on this matter and emphasized that no one should be allowed to take advantage of another person's trust or lack thereof when buying or selling goods. He also taught us that we should always strive for fairness in our dealings with others and ensure that no one is taken advantage of in any transaction.

This hadith also teaches us about the importance of honesty and integrity when dealing with others. We must always strive for fairness in our dealings with others so as not to take advantage or exploit them in any way. We must also remember that Allah will reward those who are honest and just in their dealings with others, while punishing those who are dishonest or unjustly take advantage over another person's trust or lack thereof when buying or selling goods.
