Dedication and Devotion of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the dedication of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to worshipping Allah and his constant devotion.

Narrated Alqama: I asked 'Aisha "Did Allah s Apostle, use to choose some special days (for fasting)?" She replied, "No, but he used to be regular (constant) (in his service of worshipping). Who amongst you can endure what Allah's Messenger used to endure?"
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يَخْتَصُّ مِنَ الأَيَّامِ شَيْئًا قَالَتْ لاَ، كَانَ عَمَلُهُ دِيمَةً، وَأَيُّكُمْ يُطِيقُ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يُطِيقُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the dedication and devotion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to worshipping Allah. He was constantly devoted to worshipping Allah and was regular in his service. His endurance was so great that Aisha asked who amongst us can endure what he used to endure? This hadith teaches us the importance of being devoted to worshiping Allah regularly with patience and endurance. It also shows us how we should strive for excellence in our worship as it is a reflection of our faith in God. We should also remember that no matter how difficult it may be, we must remain steadfast in our faith and never give up on our worship even when times are tough.
