Hunting with Mirad According to the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that if an animal is killed by a sharp edge, it can be eaten, but if it is killed by a broad edge, then it should not be eaten.

It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Htim said: "I asked the Messenger of Allah about hunting with Mirad and he said: 'If the sharp edge hits (the game), then eat, but if the broad edge of it strikes it, then it has been killed by a blow"'.
