Making Up Missed Days of Ramadan

SUMMARY: Aisha missed some days of Ramadan but was unable to make up for them except in the month of Sha'ban.

Narrated 'Aisha: Sometimes I missed some days of Ramadan, but could not fast in lieu of them except in the month of Sha'ban". Said Yahya, a sub-narrator, "She used to be busy serving the Prophet ".

QUICK LESSONS:
Try your best to fast during all the days in Ramadhan
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'Aisha tells us that if we miss any days of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, we can make up for them in the month of Sha'ban. This is because sometimes 'Aisha was too busy serving the Prophet ﷺ and could not fast on certain days. We learn from this hadith that it is important to be mindful and try our best to fast during all the days in Ramadan, but if we are unable to do so due to a valid reason then we can make up for those missed days in another month. It also teaches us that it is important to prioritize our duties towards Allah ﷻ over other tasks and responsibilities.
