Do what is better; Offer expiation for your oath; Show forgiveness towards those who may have wronged you; Strive to uphold ties of kinship despite any grievances between parties involved .

This hadith speaks to the importance of upholding ties of kinship, even when someone has wronged us or not been there for us in our time of need. It encourages us to do what is better and forgive them, rather than holding a grudge or swearing an oath that we will not help them in their time of need. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also suggested that if one does swear such an oath, they should offer expiation for it as a way to make up for it and show forgiveness towards the other person. This hadith teaches us values such as forgiveness, kindness, mercy and compassion towards others regardless of how they have treated us in the past.
