QUICK LESSONS:
Do not swear by your forefathers or false gods .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, taught us to stay away from swearing by our ancestors or false gods. This is because it is wrong to swear by something that has no power or authority over us. We should only swear by Allah, the One True God who has all power and authority over us. When we swear an oath, we are making a promise to Allah that we will do something or not do something. If we break this promise then it is considered a sin in Islam and can have serious consequences for our faith and relationship with Allah. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to be mindful of what they are swearing by when making an oath so as not to break their promises with Allah. Additionally, worshipping false gods goes against the teachings of Islam as there is only one true God - Allah - who should be worshipped alone without any partners or associates.
