Be humble in the face of success; recognize God's grace & mercy; celebrate others' achievements with them; thank God for your own successes instead of taking credit yourself .

This hadith teaches us about humility in the face of success. It was narrated by Anas bin Malik that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) raced with a Bedouin and lost. His companions were upset by this, but he reminded them that it is a right upon Allah that nothing can raise itself up without Him lowering it. In other words, no one should be proud or boastful about their accomplishments because all successes come from Allah alone. We must remain humble and remember to thank Him for our successes instead of taking credit for them ourselves. This hadith also serves as a reminder to not be jealous or envious when someone else succeeds; rather we should celebrate their achievements with them and recognize that it was only possible through Allah's grace and mercy.
