It was narrated that Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allah was given a mule as a gift and he rode it. When Ali suggested to mate a donkey with a horse to get one like this, the Prophet replied that it is only done by those who do not know. This hadith teaches us that we should always seek knowledge before taking any action or making any decisions in life because knowledge is power and wisdom comes from knowing what is right or wrong for us.
