This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prohibition of marriage between relatives who are related through breast-feeding. In this hadith, 'Ali asked why the Prophet chose wives from among Quraish and not from among them, to which he replied that he was not allowed to marry the daughter of his brother through breast-feeding. This teaches us that it is prohibited in Islam for a man to marry a woman who has been breastfed by his mother or any other relative, as they are considered siblings due to their shared milk relationship.
