Combining Faith and Stinginess

SUMMARY: Allah will never combine faith in Him and stinginess in the heart of a Muslim man.

It was narrated from Abu Al-'Ala' bin Al-Lajlaj that he heard Abu Hurairah say: "Allah will never combine the dust in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and the smoke of Hell, in the lungs of a Muslim man, and Allah will never combine faith in Allah, and stinginess in the heart of a Muslim man".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of having faith in Allah and not being stingy with one's wealth or possessions. It is narrated by Abu Al-'Ala' bin Al-Lajlaj who heard it from Abu Hurairah that Allah will never combine faith in Him and stinginess in the heart of a Muslim man. This means that if someone has true faith in God, they should not be miserly with their wealth or possessions as this goes against the teachings of Islam. The hadith also implies that if someone is stingy, then they do not have true faith in God as these two cannot coexist together. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to practice generosity and charity as this shows their true devotion to God.
