Striving Against Idolators

SUMMARY: Striving against idolators with wealth, hands and tongues is encouraged.

It was narrated from Anas that the Prophet said: "Strive against the idolators with your wealth, your hands and your tongues". 1 1 Its chain has defects while its meaning is supported by other chains.
أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ جَاهِدُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages Muslims to strive against the idolaters with their wealth, hands and tongues. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching his followers that they should use all of their resources to oppose those who practice idolatry. This includes using their money to support causes that oppose idolatry, using physical strength when necessary, and speaking out against it in order to spread awareness of its wrongfulness. It is important for Muslims to remember this hadith when faced with any form of injustice or oppression as it serves as a reminder that we must use all our resources in order to fight for what is right.
