Entering and Leaving Makkah

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad entered Makkah from the upper valley and left from the lower valley.

It was narrated from Ibn Umar that: the Messenger of Allah entered Makkah from the upper valley which is in Al-Batha and he left from the lower valley.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ الْعُلْيَا الَّتِي بِالْبَطْحَاءِ وَخَرَجَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ السُّفْلَى
