Sunan an-Nasai 2864 (Book 24, Hadith 247) #17476
The Prophet's Purity and Whiteness

SUMMARY: The Prophet set out from Al-Jiranah at night and performed Umrah, then he came back in the morning looking as if he had stayed there overnight.

It was narrated from Muharrish Al-Kabi that: the Prophet set out from Al-Jiranah at night as if he were an ingot of silver (ie, in whiteness and purity) and performed Umrah, then he came back in the mooring as if he had stayed there overnight.

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for purity in our lives both physically and spiritually

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the purity and whiteness of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He set out from Al-Jiranah at night to perform Umrah, a pilgrimage to Mecca that is similar to Hajj but shorter in duration. When he returned in the morning, it was as if he had stayed there overnight due to his purity and whiteness. This shows us how important it is for us to strive for purity in our lives, both physically and spiritually. We should strive to be like the Prophet ﷺ by being pure in our thoughts, words, and deeds so that we can be closer to Allah SWT.
