The Prophet's Clothing During Garlands

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad did not enter a state of Ihram or abandon any kind of regular clothing when he was given garlands.

It was narrated that Aishah said: "I twisted the garlands for the Budn of the Messenger of Allah, then he did not enter at state of Ihram or abandon any kind of regular clothing".
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ فَتَلْتُ قَلاَئِدَ بُدْنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُحْرِمْ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ شَيْئًا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad and his clothing when he was given garlands. Aishah narrated that she twisted the garlands for the Budn of the Messenger of Allah, but he did not enter a state of Ihram or abandon any kind of regular clothing. This hadith teaches us that even though it is permissible to wear special clothes during certain occasions, it is still important to maintain modesty and humility in our dress code.
