Follow Islamic teachings, follow examples set by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .

This hadith speaks to the importance and significance of performing a type of pilgrimage known as ‘Tamattu’. It was narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that he heard 'Umar say that he forbids people from forbidding this practice. However, it is mentioned in the Book of Allah and was also done by the Messenger himself. This shows us how important this practice must be for Muslims to follow as it has been prescribed both in scripture and through example set by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It teaches us that we should always strive to follow what has been prescribed for us in Islam, even if we don’t understand why or how it will benefit us at first glance.
