QUICK LESSONS:
Stay true to your commitments and strive for self-control & restraint in all aspects of life.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of fasting. One day, when the Prophet was fasting, his companions offered him some food. However, even though he was hungry and could have eaten it, the Prophet chose to continue with his fast instead. This teaches us that we should be disciplined and stay true to our commitments even if it means sacrificing something we want or need in the moment. It also shows us that we should not give into temptation or desires just because they are available to us; rather, we should strive for self-control and restraint in all aspects of our lives.
