QUICK LESSONS:
Maintain balance between spiritual obligations and physical needs, Be mindful in your actions

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Abbas tells us that the Prophet Muhammad traveled during the month of Ramadan and broke his fast while people could see him. This is an example of how the Prophet was a mercy to all mankind, as he showed us that it is permissible to break one's fast while traveling during this holy month. He also taught us that we should be mindful of our actions and not do anything that would cause harm or distress to others. We can learn from this hadith that even though fasting is an important part of Islam, it should not be done at the expense of our health or wellbeing. We should always strive to maintain a balance between our spiritual obligations and physical needs so as not to compromise either one.
