The Promise of Allah is True

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed the believers where the disbelievers would fall in battle and asked them if they found what Allah promised to be true.

It was narrated that Anas said: "We were with 'Umar between Makkah and Al-Madinah, when he started to tell us about the people of Badr. He said: The Messenger of Allah showed us the day before where they (the disbelievers) would fall. He said: This is the place where so-and-so will fall tomorrow, if Allah wills'. 'Umar said: 'By the One Who sent him with the truth! They did not miss those places, They were placed in a well and the Prophet came to them and called out: O so-and-so, son of so-and-so! O so-and-so, son of so-and-so! Have you found what your Lord promised to be true? Of I have found what allah promised me to be true'.Umar said: 'Are you speaking to bodies in which there are no souls?' He said: 'You do not hear what I say any better than they do"'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in Allah's promises no matter how difficult or impossible they may seem at first glance .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the faith of Muslims and how it was tested during a battle between Makkah and Al-Madinah. Before the battle, Prophet Muhammad showed his followers where their enemies would fall, as if he already knew what was going to happen. Umar was amazed by this and asked how he could know such a thing. The Prophet replied that he heard it from Allah, who promised him that his words will come true. This hadith teaches us that we should always have faith in Allah's promises no matter how difficult or impossible they may seem at first glance. We should also remember that even though we cannot see or hear Him, He is always with us and knows everything about our lives before it happens.
