Relief in Death

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that when a believer dies, they are relieved of the hardships and troubles of this world, and the people, land, trees and animals are relieved from the immoral slave.

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah bin Raib'i that he used to narrate: "A funeral passed by the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'He is relieved and others are relieved of him'. They said: 'What does relieved mean and what does relieved of him mean: He said: "The believing slave is relieved of the hardships and troubles of this world, and the people, the land, the trees and the animals are relieved of the immoral slave"'.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about death and relief. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that when a believer dies, they are relieved of the hardships and troubles of this world. He also said that people, land, trees and animals are relieved from an immoral slave. This means that when someone who does bad things dies or leaves an area then everyone else will be free from their bad influence. It teaches us to be kind to others so we can bring peace to our communities even after we die.
