QUICK LESSONS:
Pray during night time; Make your last prayer as witr; Offer voluntary prayers; Strengthen your faith in Allah Almighty; Stay connected with Allah throughout day-to-day life; Avoid sins or wrongdoings

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages Muslims to make their last prayer at night witr. It is narrated by Ibn 'Umar that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to enjoin this practice. Making witr prayer is an important part of Islamic worship and it should not be neglected. It is a voluntary prayer that can be offered after Ishaa and before Fajar prayers. It consists of three rakats with one tasleem at the end, followed by two rakats with one tasleem at the end, and then three more rakats with one tasleem at the end. This makes a total of eight rakats for witr prayers. By offering this voluntary prayer, Muslims are able to gain extra rewards from Allah Almighty and also strengthen their faith in Him. Furthermore, it helps them stay connected with Allah throughout their day-to-day lives and keeps them away from sins or wrongdoings.
