EXPLANATIONS:
Prostration is an important part of Islamic worship and it involves seven parts of the body. According to a hadith narrated by Al 'Abbas bin 'Abdul-Muttalib, Prophet Muhammad said that when a person prostrates, his face, two palms, two knees and two feet all prostrate. This means that when we perform sujud or prostration during prayer or any other form of ibadah, we should make sure that all these seven parts are touching the ground. It is also important to remember that prostration should be done with humility and sincerity as it is an act of worshiping Allah Almighty.
