Sunan an-Nasai 671 (Book 7, Hadith 46) #15279
The Virtue of Attending Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) encourages people to attend the call to prayer and come early for the prayer, as there is great virtue in doing so.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: "If the people knew what (virtue) there is in the call to prayer and the first row, and they had no other way but to draw lots concerning them, they would draw lots. If they knew what (virtue) there is in coming early for the prayer, they would compete in doing so. And if they knew what (virtue) there is in 'Atamah and Subh prayer, they would come even if they had to crawl".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) emphasizes the importance of attending prayer and coming early for it, as there is great virtue in doing so. He encourages people to attend the call to prayer and come early for it even if they have to crawl, showing how important this act is in Islam. It also highlights that if people knew how much reward was associated with these acts, they would compete with each other in order to do them first or draw lots if necessary due to overcrowding at mosques during prayers times. This hadith teaches us that we should strive hard and make an effort towards attending prayers on time as Allah rewards those who do good deeds sincerely and wholeheartedly without expecting anything in return from Him or anyone else but His pleasure alone.
