Sunan an-Nasai 621 (Book 6, Hadith 128) #15229
The Prophet's Journey and His Teachings

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was on a journey with his companions and they slept until the sun rose. He then prayed two Rak'ahs before Fajr and informed them about what will happen until the Day of Judgement.

It was narrated from Buraid bin Abi Mariam that his father said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah on a journey, and we kept going one night, then when it was nearly morning the Messenger of Allah dismounted and slept, and the people slept too. We did not wake up until the sun had risen. The Messenger of Allah asked the Mu'adhdhin to call the Adhan, then he prayed the two Rak'ahs before Fajr, then he asked him to say the Iqamah, then he led the people in prayer. Then he told us about everything that will happen until the Hour begins".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a journey that the Prophet Muhammad took with his companions. When it was nearly morning, he dismounted and slept while everyone else did too. When they woke up, he asked for the Adhan to be called so that they could pray two Rak’ahs before Fajr. After this, he informed them about what will happen until the Day of Judgement when all people will be judged by Allah for their deeds in life. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to do good deeds as we never know when our time on earth will end and how we will be judged by Allah in the hereafter. We should also remember to take time out from our busy lives for prayer as it is an important part of our faith which helps us stay connected with Allah at all times.
