EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of seeking purification from sins and errors. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to make a special supplication, or du’a, asking Allah to cleanse us of our wrongdoings as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. He asked Allah to purify him with snow, hail, and cold water. This teaches us that we should always seek forgiveness from Allah for our mistakes and strive to be better people in order to be closer to Him. We should also remember that no matter how many times we make mistakes, if we sincerely ask for forgiveness then Allah will forgive us.
