Sunan an-Nasai 348 (Book 3, Hadith 1) #14955
Menstruation During Hajj

SUMMARY: This hadith explains that menstruation is a natural process for women and they should not perform the Tawaf ritual during Hajj while they are menstruating.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "We went out with the Messenger of Allah with no intention other than Hajj. When he was in Sarif I began menstruating. The Messenger of Allah entered upon me and I was weeping. He said: 'What is the matter with you? Has you Nifas begun?' I said: 'Yes'. He said: 'This is something that Allah the Mighty and Sublime has decreed for the daughters of Adam. Do what the pilgrims do but do not perform Tawaf around the House'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow rituals during Hajj with patience and faith; Respect your body by taking care when you are in a state of Haydh or Nifas; Accept Allah's decree with patience and faith even if it means missing out on certain rituals during your pilgrimage .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the importance of following rituals during Hajj, which is one of the five pillars of Islam. It also highlights that menstruation is a natural process for women and it should not be seen as something shameful or embarrassing. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to accept this as part of Allah's decree and to do what other pilgrims do, but without performing Tawaf around the House. This hadith teaches us to accept Allah's decree with patience and faith, even if it means missing out on certain rituals during our pilgrimage. It also encourages us to respect our bodies by taking care of ourselves when we are in a state of Haydh or Nifas.
