Clean Earth as Wudu Substitute

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that clean earth can be used as a substitute for wudu (ritual ablution) if water is not available.

It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Clean earth is the Wudu' of the Muslim, even if he does not find water for ten years'."
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ هِشَامٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ بُجْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ الصَّعِيدُ الطَّيِّبُ وَضُوءُ الْمُسْلِمِ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ الْمَاءَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ
