This hadith speaks about the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He was known for his piety and devotion to Allah SWT, even while performing mundane tasks such as using the restroom. He also enjoyed spending time with his companions, eating meals together and engaging in conversation. However, he would refrain from reciting Qur'an if he was in a state of Janabah until he performed Ghusl or ritual purification.
